Privacy Policy

Edutisse is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our services.

Information We Collect

  • Personal information such as name, email address, and organization details provided during registration
  • Usage data, including audit results, reports, and compliance status
  • Technical data such as IP address, browser type, and device information

How We Use Information

  • To provide and maintain our services
  • To communicate with you about updates and important information related to your account
  • To analyze usage and improve our services
  • To ensure compliance with legal obligations

Data accessed through your Google or Microsoft account, or through any connected social media account (including email, calendar, and social media data), is never used for the purposes above; it is used only as described in the sections below, solely to provide and improve the specific features you enable.

Our Use of Google User Data

When you connect a Google account to Edutisse, we request access to the following Google user data, only after you grant explicit permission:

  • Gmail messages, to read messages relevant to your workflows and to send messages on your behalf when you initiate that action within Edutisse
  • Google Calendar data, to read your calendar events and availability, and to create, update, or delete calendar events on your behalf when you initiate that action within Edutisse
  • Basic Google account profile information (such as your name and email address), to identify and authenticate your account

Edutisse's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular:

  • We use Gmail and Calendar data only to provide or improve user-facing features that are prominently visible in Edutisse and directly related to that data (e.g., composing and sending a message you request, or displaying your schedule)
  • We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements, and we do not sell, rent, or transfer Google user data to third parties for advertising, market research, or other unrelated purposes
  • We do not use Google user data to train or improve generalized, non-personalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models
  • Google user data is only accessed by humans if you have given us affirmative consent for a specific purpose, if it is necessary for security purposes (for example, investigating abuse), or if required to comply with applicable law; otherwise it is handled on an automated basis

You can revoke Edutisse's access to your Google data at any time from your Google Account permissions page (myaccount.google.com/permissions) or from within Edutisse's connected-accounts settings. Revoking access does not affect data already processed prior to revocation, which we handle according to our retention practices described below.

Our Use of Microsoft User Data

When you connect a Microsoft account to Edutisse, we request access to the following Microsoft Graph data, only after you grant explicit permission:

  • Outlook mail, to read messages relevant to your workflows and to send messages on your behalf when you initiate that action within Edutisse
  • Outlook Calendar data, to read your calendar events and availability, and to create, update, or delete calendar events on your behalf when you initiate that action within Edutisse
  • Basic Microsoft account profile information, to identify and authenticate your account

As with Google user data, we use Microsoft account data only to provide or improve the specific, user-facing features described above. We do not use this data for advertising, do not sell or transfer it to third parties for unrelated purposes, and do not use it to train generalized AI models. Human access follows the same limited-purpose rules described in the section above.

You can revoke Edutisse's access to your Microsoft data at any time from your Microsoft account's app permissions page (account.live.com/consent/Manage) or from within Edutisse's connected-accounts settings.

Our Use of Connected Social Media Data

Edutisse lets you connect social media accounts — currently TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and X (Twitter), with additional platforms added over time — to publish videos created with our tools. When you connect any such account, we request access to the following data, only after you grant explicit permission through that platform's own authorization screens:

  • Basic account profile information (such as your username, display name, and profile picture), to identify and authenticate your connected account
  • Permission to publish videos and associated captions to your connected account when you initiate that action within Edutisse
  • Basic public engagement metrics (such as views, likes, and comments) on content posted through Edutisse, to provide reporting on your recruitment campaigns

Limited Use of Connected Social Media Data

  • We use data from your connected social media accounts only to provide or improve the specific, user-facing features described above, such as publishing your videos and displaying performance metrics
  • We do not use this data for serving advertisements, and we do not sell, rent, or transfer it to third parties for advertising, market research, or other unrelated purposes
  • We do not use this data to train or improve generalized, non-personalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models
  • This data is only accessed by humans if you have given us affirmative consent for a specific purpose, if it is necessary for security purposes (for example, investigating abuse), or if required to comply with applicable law; otherwise it is handled on an automated basis
  • We retain this data only for as long as necessary to provide the connected features or as required by law, and we delete it upon your request or account deletion

You can revoke Edutisse's access to any connected social media account at any time from that platform's app permissions settings, or from within Edutisse's connected-accounts settings. Revoking access does not affect content already posted or data already processed prior to revocation.

Additional Disclosures for YouTube

Where you connect a YouTube account, our access to and use of the associated data is additionally governed by the YouTube API Services Terms of Service, available at https://www.youtube.com/t/terms, and the Google Privacy Policy, available at https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can revoke Edutisse's access to your YouTube data at any time via the Google security settings page at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.

Video Generation Data

When you use our video generation tools, we process the materials you upload or select (such as school branding, images, and text prompts) solely to generate the video you request. Generated videos and the materials used to create them are stored so you can review, edit, and re-publish them, and are retained according to our standard retention practices described below.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

  • We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
  • We may share your information with trusted service providers who assist us in operating our platform and providing our services, subject to strict confidentiality agreements and, for Google, Microsoft, and connected social media account data, only to the extent necessary to provide the features described above.
  • We may also disclose your information if required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
  • We never share Google, Microsoft, or connected social media account data with third parties for advertising or unrelated commercial purposes.
