Terms of Use
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Edutisse, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Service Description
Edutisse provides a platform for educational institutions to monitor and audit their compliance with various regulations, and to run marketing and student recruitment campaigns, including generating and publishing promotional video content to connected social media accounts.
User Responsibilities
- As a user of Edutisse, you are responsible for providing accurate and complete information during registration and use of our services.
- You are also responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
- You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights and authorization to connect any third-party account (such as Google, Microsoft, or a connected social media account) to Edutisse, and for the content of any messages, calendar events, or social media posts you direct Edutisse to send, create, or publish on your behalf.
Third-Party Account Connections (Google and Microsoft)
Edutisse allows you to connect your Google and/or Microsoft account to enable certain features, such as reading and sending email and reading, creating, updating, or deleting calendar events. By connecting a third-party account, you agree that:
- Edutisse will only read, send, or modify data on your connected account when you initiate an action that requires it, or as otherwise described in our Privacy Policy.
- You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of any content sent or calendar events created through Edutisse using your connected account.
- Your use of connected Google or Microsoft features is also subject to Google's and Microsoft's own terms of service, and we are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or performance of those third-party services.
- You may disconnect a third-party account at any time through your Edutisse account settings or through the relevant provider's permissions page; disconnecting does not undo actions already taken.
Third-Party Account Connections (Social Media)
Edutisse allows you to connect social media accounts — currently TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and X (Twitter), with additional platforms added over time — to publish videos created with our video generation tools. By connecting any such account, you agree that:
- Edutisse will only read profile information from, or publish content to, your connected account when you initiate an action that requires it, or as otherwise described in our Privacy Policy.
- You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of any video, caption, or other content published through Edutisse using your connected account, including compliance with the connected platform's community guidelines and content policies.
- You represent that you have all necessary rights, licenses, and consents (including from any students, staff, or other individuals featured in generated content) to create and publish the content you direct Edutisse to post.
- Your use of a connected social media account is also subject to that platform's own terms of service and community guidelines, and we are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or performance of that platform, or for its decisions to remove content or restrict your account.
- Edutisse is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any social media platform you connect; any reference to a platform's name or brand is solely to describe the connection feature.
- You may disconnect a social media account at any time through your Edutisse account settings or through the relevant platform's permissions page; disconnecting does not remove or unpublish content already posted.
Video Generation and Content Posting Tools
- Edutisse's video generation tools allow you to create promotional and recruitment videos using content and materials you provide or select.
- You are responsible for reviewing generated videos before publishing them, and for ensuring they comply with applicable laws (including those relating to student privacy) and the policies of any platform you post to.
- Edutisse reserves the right to decline to generate or publish content that violates these Terms, applicable law, or the policies of a connected platform.
Prohibited Use
You agree not to use Edutisse to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation, or the rights of any third party.
- Send unsolicited, deceptive, or abusive messages through connected email or messaging integrations.
- Access, tamper with, or use non-public areas of Edutisse or its systems without authorization.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of Edutisse or the data it contains.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's account, data, or connected third-party accounts.
- Post content that violates the Community Guidelines, terms of service, or other policies of any connected social media platform.
